This update has been focus on tracking and fixing bugs, in order to prepare the incoming big NPC update. Few various enhancements and new features, and the Vanilla has changed a bit.

New features & changes

  • Load solo game menu new buttons: You can now remove and rename your saves in the load solo game menu. Also added a drop-down list for the case you play too much the game.
  • Drop item behavior replaced by alteration: BREAKING CHANGE! The behavior "drop item" has been removed and has been replaced by an alteration. They were no reason for it to be a behavior and an alteration allows more possibilities. If you have custom content pack based on vanilla, you will have to manually copy the change made for the wooden puppet creature (Behavior Set + Ability Set).
  • Maximum repeat count for Effect events: The effect events of game modes has now a new field called "Maximum repeat counter value", which, when > 0, allows to limit the growth in the effect's stat formulas by the repeat counter.
  • Polish translation: Polish language has been added for the game client and the vanilla content pack. Thanks @Bambuko for the translations!

Enhancements

  • Chunk manager thread changed: Changed the way the chunk manager is working, making chunk loading a lot faster, and solving some stability issues with the Host & Play mode.
  • Inventory lightning: Added a slight yellow lightning effect when an inventory slot change occurs.
  • Prediction bullet speed: The prediction bullet speed in creature's ability set has now a tooltip and negative values are not allowed as they should be.
  • The "Affected neighbors distance" in change conditions of behaviors now takes less place.

Vanilla content pack changes

  • Maximum pig & zombie wave size and powerThe pig and  zombie waves of the normal cooperative mode has now a growth limit thanks to the new field "Maximum repeat counter value", has been set to 15. The hardcore mode still has no limit.
  • Polish translation: Polish translation has been added!
  • Pig & zombie waves anti spawn-kill: Ninja pig and zombies will now vanish once there is no more player. This avoid spawn camping problems when respawning.
  • Enhanced wooden puppet: Wooden puppets now try to avoid enemies, they also can be "disabled" by drooping to them a wooden puppet item, because they are afraid of realizing that they are just a puppet. The item text has been changed to remind this behavior.
  • Translation fixes: For the barbaric axe and the demonic scythe.

Bug fix

  • Fixed a bug that makes sometimes the sprites drawing in the wrong Z order on the side of chunks.
  • Fixed a bug in the content pack editor that silently crashes the save action when using an "include" or "exclude" collection of item or structure (for harvest behavior, inventory change condition).
  • Fixed a bug that freezes the editor when a sprite sheet preview is shrunk to zero size in width or height.
  • Fixed some french translations of the main menu.
  • Fixed a potential server crash when a player disconnects.
  • Fixed a bug that make the random flip of structures not working in multiplayer mode.
  • Fixed a bug that gives the wrong starting position information to the client when starting a game.
  • Fixed a bug that make creatures drop their item rewards when vanishing, via the vanish behavior.
